King, Calvin R.

Canandaigua: Passed Monday, July 4, 2016 at age 87. He was
predeceased by his son, Richard. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Florence Chaffee-King;
step-sons, Glenn E. (Maryanne) Chaffee, David W. (Patricia) Chaffee;
daughters, Robin (Eric) Blakesley, Cat King (Michael); stepdaughter,
Beth A. Young (Marvin Williams); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren here
and in England.

Calvin was an Army Airborne Ranger who proudly served his country during WWII
and Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 256 Canandaigua, NY for 71 years. He
was also a member of the Painters Union for 60 years.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 8th from 4-6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636
Ridgeway Ave. where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers,
