Mark died in a motorcycle accident on August 7th, 2016 at the age of 31.
Mark was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He is predeceased by his brother Joseph, Grandparents, Walter Malterus and Norman (Nada) Hasman, great grandmother Ella Magar.
He is survived by his mother Lynnanne Hasman, father Calvin (LouAnn) Hasman,
grandmother, Maxine Malterus, great grandfather James Magar his sister Jennifer and brother and sister in law Michael and Ana,
niece Alana, nephew Dima, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including his girlfriend Elizabeth Nojay.
Mark graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Mark also received a degree from Monroe Community College in Applied Science in Apprentice Training: Automotive in 2010.
While attending St. John Fisher Mark also took a welding course from Wemoco, just because he wanted to learn how to weld.
Mark started Exit 11 Auto in 2012 with his longtime friend John Lombardo. Mark's primary focus at work was automotive repairs, where you could find him working six and sometimes seven days a week.
He was fortunate to have Ermin Ianacone and Mike Goodman as fellow mechanics Mark appreciated everyone who supported Exit 11.
As they built a successful business based on hard work, honesty and integrity in always doing the right thing for their customers who many times became friends as well.
Mark had many hobbies and interests including riding mountain and road bicycles, golf (Re/Max World Long Drive Championship 368 yards), tennis, martial arts, weight lifting, , exercise, health and nutrition, cooking, grilling, motorcycles and anything automotive related.
Mark was also a dog lover and had a pit bull, Tyson, who died in February of this year.
Many of Marks friends have told us that he was dependable and always willing to help.
Others have reached out with personal stories of Marks kindness and patience. Many friends have said they will remember his walk, smile and laugh.
We want to thank everyone who has shared personal heartfelt stories about their friendship and memories of happy times together with Mark. We also want to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
Mark was laid to rest on August 13th, 2016 at White Haven Memorial Park next to his brother Joseph who died at age 15, March 4th, 1998.
