Rochester - Passed away on August 29, 2018 at the age of 48.
Predeceased by his father, John & sister, Lori Gardner.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Renee & Ellison; mother, Helen; siblings, Molly (Tina Paternostro), Kevin, Bridget (Andrew Hughes) Corder-McCarthy, & Katy (Gary Kowalczyk); sister-in-law, Andrea Ellsworth; nieces & nephews, Christopher, Brittany, Katelynn, Sean, Erin, Andy, Joseph, & Lindsey; many loving, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Michael proudly served his country in the US Navy.
Michael was a very talented person. He seemed to excel at everything he did. What he did best was love, that he did perfectly. He loved his family, his friends, his community, his animals, his projects, his garden, and so much more. And yes, Michael loved the underdog, the disenfranchised, the broken, the struggling, the misunderstood, the challenged, and the lost.
He gave of himself to help others. He would drop everything to comfort, console, fight for or protect those in need. Even at the end he gave of himself to those who were in need through donating his organs.
Family will receive friends 5 - 8 PM Friday, August 31, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
