Eugene Anderson

In Loving Memory

Eugene Anderson was born October 5, 1935 in Tampa, Florida to the late Haywood Anderson and Frances A.(Henry)Anderson. He was the oldest of six children. Eugene departed this life on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the comfort of his home with family.




Eugene met his loving wife, Mildred Anderson in Ohio. They married in Rochester, NY in 1970 where he was employed. In the year of 1971, Mildred relocated from Ohio to Rochester, NY to be closer to her husband and to focus on raising their family together.




Gene was employed at Rochester Concrete & Pipe for 40 years and Lifetime Assistance Transportation for 10 years.




Gene is predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years Mildred Anderson, his youngest brother O'Neil Anderson and step-son Donald Martin.

Gene is survived by his two sons Keith Anderson and John(Soraya)Carter and two daughters Sheila Anderson and Marie(Ronnie)Williams; two sister-laws Barbara Williams and Betty Carruthers and one brother in-law David(Donna) Martin of Youngstown,Ohio. Six grand children: Chonn(Nicole)Williams, Toni Williams, A.J. Walton Carter, Alexis Carter, Keira Jackson Anderson and Donald Martin Jr. Eight great grandchildren: Nia Williams, Jaden Terrell, Phoofa-Luv Walton Carter, Adrien McCullough and Ashlee McCullough, Alexis Martin, Zeph Martin and Zoe Martin of Youngstown, Ohio; three great great grandchildren: Adrien McCullough Jr., Phy'nix Mitchell McCullough and Amai'zyn McCullough and Sadie Martin. Three cousins: Vincent Henry, Vern Henry, Carrie Henry of Springfield, Massachusetts and many devoted family and friends.
