Addie Brown

Addie Brown (affectionately known as Sista and Mama) was born on January 3rd, 1939 in Ocilla, GA. Addie was one of twelve siblings. She would eventually meet and marry Leotis Brown, with whom she raised two daughters. In the 1960's, the family relocated to Rochester, New York.
For many years, Addie was employed with Sibley's Department Store, and General Railroad Services. She was also a guiding light, driving force, and source of support for her children and grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; Addie Davis and Henry Kincey; Husband, Leotis; Grandson, Christopher Poole; Brothers, James Davis, Isaiah Polk, Allen Cooper, LC Kiney, Henry Kincey, Harry Alfred Kincey, Robert Peterson, Buddy Kincey and Lee H Kincey. She is survived by her Daughters, Juanita P. Smith, and Betty A. Brown; her Sisters Daisy Kincey and Mary Matthews; Grandchildren, Lenora, Charles, Jaqueline, James, and Anotniece; 19 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
