Marcia Ann Mete Francisco

Marcia Ann Mete Francisco, 77, passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents, Henry & Virginia Cushing as well as her late husband, Ralph Mete and her stepdaughter, Sheryl King. Also Nana to predeceased, Bridget King.

She is survived by her siblings, Hank Cushing & Sherry Johns as well as her life partner, Franklin Francisco. She lives on through her son, Paul (Cynthia) Karr and her daughters, Linda (John) Karr, Sherry (Curtis) Shoemaker, and Marcia (Michael) Maglier. Also remembered by stepchildren, Diane & Brian Mete. She will also be forever loved by her grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, Tiffany (Nick), Leah, Jordan, Marissa, Nathaniel, Nicholas, & Benjamin. She was also Nana to Elizabeth Clark & Renee Sunderlin. She was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Lorenzo.

Marcia was born on March 7th, 1945 at Exeter hospital in New Hampshire. She was known for her loving and caring personality. Her contagious smile blessed not only her family but her friends as well. She touched many hearts as a nursing aide, where she was an integral component of the hospital's operations. After stepping away from her nursing career she began her journey as a property manager where she worked side by side with her husband Ralph. They were able to bring their attentive nature to their work and their residents.

Marcia's passion was to be a vital part of her children's and grandchildren's lives. She was consistently involved with milestones and celebrations of her grandchildren's lives. The memories will never fade, and the love will never end. Marcia will be forever missed.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609 on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 9am, where Marcia's service will directly follow at 12pm. Following the service, there will be a procession to White Haven Memorial Park.
