David Krager, 65, left us unexpectedly on April 20th, 2023.
He is survived by his 4 children, Stefanie Krager, Lacey Krager and Cole Krager (their mother Rhonda Krager) as well as daughter, Tanya (Charles) Fordham; 4 grandchildren, Jaxon Fordham, Alexis Fordham, Olivia Fordham and Braylon Elliott and 1 great grandchild, Kylen Smith - who he has showered with love and guidance for over 40 years.
Born March 25th 1958 to Raymond and Betty Krager, David was the younger brother to Nancy (Jim) McClenahan and Michael Krager.
David was an active member of local hiking and bicycling groups. His love for nature and the outdoors was shared with everyone closest to him.
The later years of his life, aside from being an active father/grandfather, were spent exploring nature, studying meditation, frequenting farmers markets and estate sales and attending the local Red Wings games with his family.
He will be remembered for his lyrical quotes, his admiration for his children and grandchildren, his wisdom, hard work ethic and his pure intentions.
He will forever be remembered by his loved ones as Dad, Papa and Papa Cole!
David's celebration of life will be held on May 5th at Webster Park Lakeview Pavillion at 6:30pm. Please email his family at DKrager.Memorial@gmail.com for further questions or inclement weather changes. We look forward to meeting all the people who knew him!
