Lois V Malloy
July 12, 1925 — January 20, 2013
Passed away unexpectedly, at age 87, on Sunday, January 20, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward, her daughter, Maureen, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her son, Bert Elliott of Englewood, FL, daughter, Marianne (John) Rudow of Rochester, NY, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Francis Rivett and Esther (Jim) Morrison, and many nephews and nieces.
Lois was born in Detroit, MI, where she met Eddie, married and enjoyed a life as a homemaker to him and their children. After many years of cold winters, they relocated to South FL and enjoyed eight years of sunshine before Mom/Grandma came to spend her last 18 years in Rochester, NY.
Her love for her family, dogs and crossword puzzles, big band music always playing and unforgettable stories, will always be cherished.
Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary in Southfield, MI.
Donations in Lois' name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
