Survived by his daughter, Leila Newton; mother, Nancy Hathaway; brother, Jeremy Newton; father, Larry Newton; grandfather, Ben Moreno; step-children, Heather and Dustin Lahr; aunt, Linda (Jim Petherick) Burdulis; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Dave was the director of Girls Edge Hockey League.
Friends and family may call Thursday, March 27, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Girls Edge Hockey League or Wilmot Cancer Center.
