Edlin, Mary Louise Rev.
Brighton: Entered into the gates of Heaven on Saturday March 29, 2014. She was born of February 21, 1936 in Rochester, NY to Rev. George Francis Shea and Mary (King) Shea. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Darla) Edlin and Kim Edlin; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Kaci and Colin who were her pride and joy; her remaining sister, Annave (Don) Leenhouts and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rev. Edlin was a longtime Pastor of Faith Temple Church in Brighton and she carried the vision of the 79 year old church that her parents founded in 1935. She was known as a peoples' Pastor and dedicated her life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her love for all people was evident even in her final months of life.
The family will receive friends Thursday April 3rd from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at Faith Temple Church, 1876 Elmwood Avenue where a Celebration service will be held Friday at 12 NOON. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Mary L. Edlin Scholarship Fund for children who are unable to afford private education at Destiny Christian School. To share a special memory, please visit:
