Rochester- Aida Santiago, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Aida was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on September 17, 1949 to the late Zoilo and Maria Santiago.
Aida is survived by her children, Carmen Velazquez, and Judith (John) Clark, her grandchildren, Sonny, AJ, Chaz, Donovin, and Joshua, her great-grandchildren, Samia, her siblings, Maria Padilla, Hector "Guiso" (Anastasia) Santiago, Carmen (Angel) Mendez, Zoilo (Zoila) Santiago, Felipe Santiago, Robert (Yvette) Ortiz, Alejita (Angel) Aguayo, and a host of nieces, nephews, Great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, February 5, 2021, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Annunciation Church, 1760 Norton Street, Rochester, NY 14609, on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10am. Current Covid restriction will be enforced.
