ROCHESTER-Alexis Burgos Sr., 56, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Alexis was born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, on November 13, 1964 to Felix and Andrea Burgos. Alexis moved to Rochester, NY in 1991 with his family. He held many jobs over the years including working for Eastman Kodak Co., Hickey-Freeman Co., and several local restaurants.
Alexis is predeceased by his father, Felix, his siblings, Heroy, Titi Negra, Tio George, and Tio Bimbo.
He is survived by his children, Alexis Burgos Jr., and Aixa Burgos, his step-daughter, Jeanette Irizarry, his partner, Gladys Mendez, his grandson, Angel L. Pabon Jr., his siblings, Wilson, Angel, Chelo, Tito, Freddie, and Ada.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
Current Covid 19 restrictions, including social distancing and capacity will be enforced.
