Chili: Passed peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2009, at age 80. Predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Winters; parents, John Harry Winters and Ruth Marion Winters. He is survived by his loving wife, Concetta DelVecchio Winters; mother-in-law, Mary DelVecchio; sons, Glenn (Karen) Winters and Richard Lee; daughters, Mary Catherine Byrne and Rebecca Glover (Peter Deutsch); grandchildren, Terri and Adam Winters, Christine and Nicholas Glover, Jacob Byrne; sister, Ruth "Marge" Simons; niece and nephew, Jeff Simons (Shari) and many more nieces & nephews; special friends, Fred (Patty) Deil, John Young (Tina), Mark Glover and Kevin Byrne; many other dear friends and family. He was a Kodak retiree.
Special thanks to the staff at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for their loving care.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 3-7 PM Tuesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., followed by closing prayers at 7 PM. Donations in Fred's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
