Rochester: Born August 26, 1921 in Sodus, NY. Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2009 at age 88. She is survived and loved by her husband, Michael Melnick Sr., whom she was married to for 44 years; children, Kathleen (Tom), Michael Jr. (Cheryl) and Robert Melnick; grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa (Jason), Michael III, (Emily), Amy (Michael Hartman); great-grandchildren, Spencer, Colin and Sky; and "adopted daughter", S.S.J. Stephanine Riley.
Friends and family may attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 9 from 5-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd, where a brief Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sisters Care (In home Services to the Elderly), 16 Lake View Park, Rochester, 14613.
