Alonzo Lee Cooper Sr.

Rochester:
Passed away on December 5th, 2017 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his parents, Beulah and Elijah Cooper; daughter, Delores Williams; sister Alma Johnson.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Mae; children, Sarah (Willie), Joeann (Albert), Carolyn (Ronald), Alonzo Jr. (Gloria), Melissa (Jerome); 10 grandchilden ; 27 great-grand-children and 1 great-great-grandson along with many many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to many family and friends including REV. Robert L. Long.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me on the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou are with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies, thou annointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Family will receive friends from10AM - 11AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM on Monday December 11th, 2017 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
