Alycia Kinney, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Born on March 27, 1940, Alycia lived a life rich with creativity, determination, and love.

Alycia was a passionate individual, known for her exceptional artistic skills. She had a thriving business decorating cakes, which brought joy to many and showcased her incredible talent. Her artistic flair extended well beyond cake decorating; she cherished sewing, baking, and various crafts. Alycia was not only skilled but also patient and kind, always willing to teach those around her how to sew and paint. Her love for crafting included making beautiful porcelain dolls, arranging flowers, and spending time quilting, activities that she dedicated much time and love to.

Education was a significant part of Alycia's life. Demonstrating her commitment to personal growth, she attended night school while managing a full-time job to become a model maker at General Motors for more than 30 years. This dedication highlighted her determination to succeed both personally and professionally.

Alycia’s hobbies brought her joy and a sense of relaxation. She enjoyed gambling at the casino, finding excitement in the thrill of the game. In her quieter moments, she delighted in watching quilting videos online and often appreciated a good nap, no matter the position.

Alycia was immensely proud of her family. She is survived by her children, Cindy Huntington, Julie (Greg) Kulzer, and Gerald (Stephanie) Nicholas, along with her daughter-in-law, Celeste Huntington, several stepchildren; and her brother Clyde (Barbara) Poole. She treasured her role as a grandmother to eleven grandchildren, a great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandmother to three great-great-grandchildren. Alycia’s legacy of love and strength will undoubtedly continue through her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Huntington, and her husband, William Kinney. She is also predeceased by her late siblings, George, Sharon, Jeannie, Kathy, Cindy, and Andy, as well as her parents, George and Doris.

Alycia Kinney’s life was a testament to the beauty of creativity, the importance of education, and the strength of family ties. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her loved ones, whose lives she enriched with her artistry and kindness.
