Rochester: On August 26, 2008 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Maria "Lola" Rivera. Survived by his 4 children, Narda (Ramon) Perez, Lena (Pedro) Martinez, Angel Jr., (Elaine) Ramos, Angie (Jimmy) Collazo; sisters, Carmen Alvarado and Elsie Ramos; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Angel was born in Cayey Puerto Rico and was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks for the loving care of the staff at St. John's Home 6th floor south.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29th from 4-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady of the America's Parish at Corpus Christi Church, 864 East Main St. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. John's Home, 6th Floor South, 150 Highland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 or to Our Lady of the America's Parish.
