Angela G. Fernandes

Passed away on December 30, 2024. 

Predeceased by her son, Anthony Hayes. 

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Lino Fernandes; Children, Kenneth Kaester & Destiny Fernandes; parents, Noah & June Holmes. 

Angela graduated in 1991 from Rush Henrietta HS. Angela loved children and used this passion to spend her life caring for them. 

Her Spiritual journey began at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Douglas Smith Sr.

She became the youth choir director and supported anything involving the youth. She has continued her walk with Christ under the leadership of Pastor Sebrone Johnson at Greater Harvest Baptist Church. Angela held accreditation as a licensed Day Care Provider (Angela’s Family Day Care) completing courses in CPR and Nutrition.

Angela was united in marriage to Lino Fernandes for the past 24 years, their love story started at Kodak where they shared breaks and lunch with one another. 

One of her favorite pastimes was cooking. We called her ‘chef’. She loved to entertain family and friends, was an avid movie watcher, and practically owned parts of Amazon. Angela was a planner, and loved to travel. Angie was all about her children; her three heartbeats, goddaughter, and daycare family.

Viewing will be held 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday, January 10, 2025 at Greater Harvest Church, 121 Driving Park Avenue, where her Celebration of Life will follow from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. Interment at Falls Cemetery (Ridge Road Cemetery), corner of Ridge Rd. & Latona Rd.
