Ann G. Farruggia

Ann G. Farruggia, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Born on October 15, 1937, Ann's life was a testament to love, faith, and creativity.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Farruggia; parents, Michael & Carmel Galdi; sister, Frances Ambrose; brother-in-law, Paul Giovinazzo.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Jean) Farruggia Jr., Michael (Angelina) Farruggia & Geraldine (William) Beattie; grandchildren, Justin Farruggia, Taylor (Ryan) Haupt, Alyssa (Dave Price) Farruggia; Janelle (Tim) Rankin, Emily (Phil) Ostroski, Zachary (Camaryn) Beattie & Blythe (Sean) Brown; great-grandchildren, Quinn, Kaia, Luke, Avery & Easton; sister, Antoniette Giovinazzo; brother-in-law, Cliff Ambrose; ; many nieces, nephews & cousins; special friends, Brenda Hayes, Anna & Al Santillo; & her Church family.

Ann was proud of her many accomplishments. She had a remarkable talent for making homemade chocolate, ensuring every family gathering was a sweet celebration. Crafting was not just a hobby, it was a way for her to show her love at baby showers, bridal showers, and every holiday. Her creativity knew no bounds. An avid reader, Ann was a devoted Christian, engaging deeply in Bible study and sharing her faith with others. She found community through her involvement with "Kings & Queens," a widowers survivor group, where she offered support and friendship to others navigating their own journeys of loss.

As we remember Ann, we celebrate a woman who filled our lives with sweetness, faith, and an unbeatable spirit. Her warmth, kindness, and creative flair will forever resonate in our hearts, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2024, at Assembly of God, 750 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612.
