Annalisa M. McCann

Annalisa McCann passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 63.

Annalisa is survived her loving husband and best friend, Thomas McCann and daughter, Kristine McCann. She is also survived by her brother, Marcus Zobrist.

Preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Anna Marie Zobrist and her brother, Dr. Konrad Markus Zobrist. Annalisa leaves behind numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews who were dear to her heart.

Known for her giving spirit, Annalisa was happiest when helping others, be it volunteering with the Community Food Cupboard of Rochester where she and Tom volunteered for many years, the Girl Scouts where she was a troop leader for 15 years, she was a proud member of the folk group at St. John the Evangelist in Spencerport.

Annalisa was one of three women in her class to complete an apprenticeship as an instrumentation mechanic at Kodak where she worked for 25 years, often in the dark in the roll coating division. She then traded in her tools to work in customer care for Carestream. After retirement, she volunteered for many years at the Food Pantry.

Throughout it all, she was a proud and dedicated mom to Kristine.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 7 Austin St, Rochester NY at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
