Rochester: Passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at age 86. Survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Violet (Pardee) Barone; children, Linda (Michael) Cirrincione, Sharon (Gary) Farnsworth, Gary (Madeline) Barone, Steven (Janice) Barone; grandchildren, Shane (Priya), Courtney (David), David, Anthony (Mari), Michael and Danielle; great-granddaughters, Olivia and Alaina; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Roe, Dorothy Foy, Joanne (Junie) Rose and Shirley Pardee; nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a WWII Army veteran, an avid bowler and golfer. He was active as a player and manager in area softball leagues which earned him the honor of being inducted into the Rochester Chapter of the USSSA Softball Hall of Fame.
Family and friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. where his Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Special Olympics, 504 Balltown Rd., Schenectady, NY 12304 in his memory.
