Gates: Passed Ocotber 6, 2010 at age 74. Predeceased by parents, Edward and Nina (Pavone) Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Nuciola) Salem; sons, Anthony and John (Gisella) Salem; daughter, Mary Ann (Doug) Mitchell; grandchildren, Benjamin Anthony Salem (DiMento), Kristin and John Jr. Salem, Travis, Alexis and Amanda Mitchell; brother-in-law and special friend, Fred Nuciola; half-brother, Roger (Benny) Salem; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Tony (Mary Jane) DiClementi, Fran Guest, Joe (Angie) Conciardo, Art (Josephine) Palano, Biagio (Marie) Mazzucco, Mrs. Howe and many others.
Tony had a very close and loving relationship with his mother-in-law, Josephine Nuciola who passed several years ago. He was a good person to many and treated several nieces and nephews with much love.
Tony was a Koren Navy veteran and received a honorable discharge. He was a member of Local Union 677 and joined many clubs where he enjoyed participating in community services.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 4 PM Monday October 18, 2010 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Rochester, NY 14606. There will be a luncheon to follow at the church.
Contributions may be directed to the family.
