Anthony R. Cooke
February 24, 1944 — September 21, 2016
Hamlin: September 21st at age 72.
Predeceased by his parents, and a brother.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Susan Bartl Cooke; his daughter, BrookeLynn (Todd) Waye; grandchildren, Thomas Anthony (Melissa) Squires, James Arthur Brannon, and DanielleSue "Dani" Brannon; brothers, Arthur (Sandra), Donald (Loretta), and Gary. Special family members, Gwynne and Orrin VanOrden, Jessica Avery, Wendy Malsegna and Hannah Myers; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Tony was a proud US Marine veteran and a life member of the Hamlin VFW. He also was a life member of the Marine Corps league in Holley NY.
Tony was also a proud Native American of the Mohawk Tribe.
Family will receive guests Saturday Sept 24th from 2pm to 6pm at New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where his service will be held at 6pm.
Reception to follow at the Hamlin VFW Post 1739 Lake Rd.
Private interment.
