Peacefully on February 12, 2024 at 90 years young, Antonietta passed away. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Giovanna Caffaro Fantauzzo, her father Calogaro Fantauzzo, her loving husband of 60 years, Gary, her sister Rosalea, her brothers Sam and Vincent.

She is survived by her children Larry (Susan) Clemente, Livia Clemente, Janet Clemente, Tricia (Joe) Marciano,13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Antonietta arrived in America from Sicily with her sister in December 1946 at 13 years old. She endured living through World War II and losing her sweet mother at 10 years old. Her arrival in America was filled with anticipation, joy, and hope as she and her sister were reunited with their father who had been working in the United States and had been separated from his family due to the war. A new life began and she met her husband and was happily married in 1952, together they raised a family. She enjoyed cooking for her family, making homemade sauce for Sunday dinner, baking and making homemade ravioli and other Italian dishes for many family celebrations and Holidays. She was a seamstress and loved sewing clothing for her family. She was a woman of deep Faith too.

Family and friends may call 3-6pm Tuesday February 20, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (GREECE LOCATION). On Wednesday morning, family and friends may meet at The Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Rd, Rochester, NY 14606 at 10:30 am for her mass of Christian burial. Antonietta will be laid to rest next to her husband Gary at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following mass.
