Passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 29, 2022 at the age of 86.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Maria, Nicolina, Carmela and Giovanni Barbieri.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Emilia (Abagnale); sons, Joseph (Donna Billings) Barbieri and Frank Barbieri; daughter, Teresa Barbieri (Holupko); grandchildren, Ashley Holupko, Grant Holupko, Lexi Barbieri, Dylan Barbieri, Brooke Barbieri and Makena Barbieri; sister, Giuseppina Barbieri; nieces, nephews and close friends.
Antonio was a proud Italian-American with strong roots in the Rochester community. He enjoyed being a member of the Italian American Community Center. Antonio will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626, on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4-7PM. Antonio's Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 9th at 930AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
