Spencerport, NY: Died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at age 83. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald B. Lane; sister/brother-in-law, Vivian (Edward) Eagan, brother/sister-in-law Chester (Catherine) Reitsch; special niece, Sharyel Fickhesen.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Craig) MacBay; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Nicole) MacBay and Kevin (Jennifer) MacBay; and brother/sister-in-law, Melvin (Donna) Reitsch.
A very special thank you to Sandy, Diane, Karen, Carlos and the entire volunteer staff at Aurora House for welcoming us into their hospice home and making us feel like part of their extended family. Anyone wishing to, may make a donation in Ardith's memory to: Aurora House, 2495 S. Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559.
A memorial service will be held at a future date at the convenience of the family. Interment, Elmlawn Cemetery, 3939 Delaware Avenue, Kenmore, New York
