On Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at age 85. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharyl. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; by his daughter, Sharon (Jack) Pidgeon; his brother, William; his sister, Margaret Nolan; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas (Amy) Pidgeon, Suzanne (Scott) Walsh, Karyn Pidgeon, Tamara (John)Bilinski; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, February 14, 2005, from 4-7 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where his Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing to remember Charles are asked to make a contribution to the charity of one's choice.
