Thrash, Arthur E. Jr. "Bud"
Rochester: October 29, 2007, age 61, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur E. Thrash, Sr.; mother, Ethel E. Thrash Konopa; father-in-law, Robert Mattison; mother-in-law, Lula Mattison; several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry (Mattison); sons, Dr. Barry R. and Todd E. (Jennifer) Thrash; grandchildren, Rebecca, Ashley, Lucille, Chloe; sister, Jane (Edward) Leuchtner; sister-in-law, Sandy (Dave) Rasmussen; aunts and uncles including, Robert Pascarella, Cora Thrash Paglia, Myrtle Herness, Fritz Petri; nieces, Michele Schirtz, Shelly (Jeff) Young; nephews, Glen Metz, Scott (Linda) and Shawn (Julie) Hare; grand-niece, Stacie Schirtz; many cousins and very special friends. Bud was a Kodak retiree, volunteered at DePaul and ASPCC, and an employee of Jim and Gail Ehmann.
His love, humor and friendliness will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 4-8 PM Friday at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, November 3rd at Open Door Baptist Church, 350 Chili-Scottsville Rd., Churchville, NY 14428. Contributions may be made to the church or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
