Greece: Passed May 4, 2009 at age 83. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine H. (Kress) Beane; sons, Thomas A. (Cheryl Grana) and James A.; daughters, Nancy (Andris) Rencis and Mary Jane (David) Bacon; grandchildren, Daniel Bacon, Michael Beane and Katrina Gladstone; sisters-in-law, Carole Mulhern and Phyllis (Harry) Curnick; godchildren, Daniel Mulhern, Michael Curnick and Dr. David Hannan; cousin and best friend, Charles Porreca. Aquinas Class of 1944; WW II U.S. Air Force Veteran; U of R Class of 1951; Greece Historical Society Life Member.
Calling hours are 4-8 P.M. Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Mark's Church,, 54 Kuhn Rd., 14612. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to Aquinas Institute Scholarship Fund or the Greece Volunteer Ambulance.
