Irondequoit: Thursday, October 15, 2009. Predeceased by his wife, Irene; and son, William. He is survived by his son and caregiver, David P. Gessner; daughter, Lori (Merl) Fisher; granddaughters, Katie and Samantha; several sisters, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Tammy. Arthur was a retiree of RG&E, a member of the American Legion, VFW and a WWII Marine veteran.

No prior calling hours. Private Service and Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607 or ABVI, 422 Clinton Avenue South, Rochester, NY 14620 in Arthur's memory.
