He is predeceased by his wife Doris. Survived by his sons, Philip K. Abel and Paul R. Abel; daughter, Stephanie M. Abel; grandchildren, Kelsey Sue and Allyssa May; Sister Helen Wang and brother George K. Abel; several nieces and nephews. Arthur was an ordained elder in his church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Friends and family may attend his Memorial Service Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10 AM at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 3233 Ridge Road West, Rochester, NY. Private Interment.
