Rochester/Cranberry Lake: Thursday, May 13, 2010 at age 77. She is predeceased by her former husbands, Jerry Kapell and Ernie Musson; son, Carl Kapell; and grandson, Matthew. Survived by her sons, Chris (Katie) and Kevin (Lynn) Kapell; daughter, Tracy (Bob) Smith; grandchildren, Chrissy (Jim), Marty, Jerry, Jeff (Jessica), Kelly (Gabe), Tannis and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Riley; sibling, Louie; and also survived by the Musson family; and many special friends.
Joyce was a Level 3 EMT and a longtime member of the Cranberry Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at French Family Funeral Home in Star Lake, 4159 Rte. 3. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at St. Huberts Catholic Church. Interment, Cranberry Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cranberry Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Cranberry Lake, NY 12927.
