Barbara passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024 at age 82 after a long illness. She is predeceased by her parents Donald and Marcy Griffin and brother Donald Griffin, Jr. Surviving her are husband Timothy Galli, daughter Laura Galli, and niece Lisa Griffin Howell.
Barbara was known to many as “Bobbie.” She was born in New York City and grew up in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Charles E. Gorton High School in Yonkers and Briarcliff College in Briarcliff Manor.
Bobbie taught letter and book arts at OASIS for more than 20 years, at continuing education classes throughout the Rochester area, and at the Wells College Book Arts Center in Aurora. She was a member of the Genesee Valley Calligraphy Guild and kept up her skills through regular summer conferences in the United States and abroad.
Bobbie loved the outdoors whether skiing, sailing, hiking, backpacking, or canoeing. She was a daily walker through the Village of Pittsford, especially enjoying the walk along the Erie Canal where she would regularly stop to say hello to small children and four-legged friends.

Bobbie lived a life of helping others and will be missed by those she touched.
