Barbara of Rochester NY, passed way peacfully surrounded by her family May 10, 2023 at the age of 88.

Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Everett Hollands (Ebb) & her parents, Theodore & Marjorie Tracy.

Barbara is survived by three children, Linda (David) Piccirilli, Christopher (Barbara) Hollands, & Richard (Christine) Hollands; six grandchildren, Tracy (Mark) DiFrancesca, John E. (Sarena Gates) Ferro, Scott Hollands, Kevn Hollands, Rachael Hollands, & Andrew Hollands; three great grandchilfren, Madelyn, Marky, & Ariana.

Barbara was born 1934 in Binghamton NY. She graduated from Binghamton High School in 1951. She married Everett Hollands from Hornell, NY then moved to Rochester, NY where they raised their family.

Barbara was employed at Eastman Kodak as an administrative assistant until her retirement in 1990. She opened & ran Cobblestone Bed & Breakfast on Conesus Lake in Livonia, NY.


Barbara & her husband traveled extensively. They were accomplished skiers & members of a local ski club for many years. They enjoyed many ski resorts in Vermont, New Hampshire, Canada, & Europe. She also had a green thumb, Barbara could be found on most Spring & Summer days in her garden, attending to her impatiens, geraniums, & her many houseplants.

Later in life Barbara & Ebb relocated to Long Lake, NY & Brooksville, FL, where they spent many years as snowbirds between the two residences.

Barbara was a loving wife, caring mother, & doting grandmother that would prepare the finest dinners & her talent in decorating for any holiday or celebration was extraordinaty. She was an exceptional gardener, quilter, & avid reader. She had a great love for the Adirondack Mountains. She volunteered at the CVW Long Lake Library & was a member of the Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY
