Barbara G. Kosciolek

Passed away with family by her side on Monday, December 2nd 2019 at age 82. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Karl, Richard, Michael & Anthony Gawron. Survived by children Christine (Jody) Whitfill; John Kosciolek, Kathy Kosciolek, Stacey (Warrick) Lackner, Mary (Michael Laubach) Kosciolek, Peter (Gina Gugliuzza) Kosciolek; grandchildren, Nikki Kosciolek, Brittney Collins, Logan Whitfill, Annika & Mason Lackner; siblings, Francis (Lucille) Gawron, Elizabeth (Katharine Bachman) Gawron, Thomas (Irene) Gawron, Gregory Gawron; many nieces & nephews.

Born in Chicopee, MA. in 1937. She attended Chicopee High School and graduated from Emerson College in 1958 and then received her Masters Degree from SUNY Geneseo. She worked as a Speech Pathologist for young children and was a long time resident of Churchville, New York where she raised her six children. Barbara will be remembered for her eternal optimism, playful personality & loving spirit. She had a never ending excitement for making new friends and had a smile for everyone.
