ROCHESTER-Barbara M. Lankowsky, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Barb was born in Rochester, NY on March 27, 1931 to the late Sylvester and Mary Makowiecki. In 1954 Barb married the love of her life, Anton Lankowsky. They were married for 22 years until his passing in 1976. Together they raised four children. Barb will be remembered for her love of polka dancing. Her passion in life was her family.
Barb is predeceased by her beloved husband, Anton, and her son, John Lankowsky.
She is survived by her children, Zenon (Carol) Lankowsky, Paul "Chip" (Michelle) Lankowsky, and Judy (Walter) Steele; daughter-in-law, Pam Lankowsky, and a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 4:00pm-07:00pm. A service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
