Greece- Barbara M. Pink, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020 to be with her Lord.
Barb was born in Rochester, NY on October 28, 1937 to the late Monty and Molly Montanaro. On September 28, 1957 Barb married the love of her life, Ronald Pink. They were married for 62 years, and together they raised three children. Barb will be remembered for her strong faith. She was lifelong member of Hope Lutheran Church. She loved cooking, gardening, and shopping. Her passion in life was her family.
Barb is predeceased by her sister, Lucille DeMarco, and her son-in-law, Paul DeCaro.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald, her children, Karen DeCaro, Donna (Lisa McKay) Pink, and Steve (Kelly) Pink, her grandchildren, Nick (Kaila), Alex (Ryann), Brittany (Nelson), Michael, her great-grandchildren, Emerson, and Bryce, her nieces, Robin, Jeanine, Karla, Lori, and Wendy, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609 on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626, on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00am. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barb's name to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131
