Barbara L. Potter, 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family.
Barbara was born in Chicago, Il, on February 27, 1931 to the late Dewald and Dorothy Nehs. Barbara was the wife of the late Gordon Potter for over 40 years until his passing in March of 2020. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, artistry, and sci-fi. She was a member of the UFO Study Group in Henrietta, NY. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
She is predeceased by her second husband, Arthur E. Haug, her son, Lynn Wiens, her step-son, Michael Potter.
She is survived by her children, Dave (Katie) Wiens, Bruce (Neng Marquez) Haug, Daniel Haug, Lisa Haug, and Leigh (Bill) Barry, her step-son, Tom Potter, her grandchildren, Nicole, Seth, and Nathan, and her two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
