Entered into the house of the Lord, Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph J., of 54 years. She is survived by daughters, Janet (John) Peters and Dana (Thomas) Walker; grandchildren, Nicolas, Heath and Mason Walker, Jessy Peters; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Barbara's Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM, Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
To the friends and caretakers of Barbara, especially those at Park Ridge Hospital and Unity Living Center, there are not enough words to express our gratitude to all. A special thanks to the nurses and respiratory team that gave their compassion, concern, love and kisses to our Mom throughout all the difficult and trying times. Because of your outstanding support, you helped enrich the quality of her life.
