Rochester - Passed away on November 9, 2023 at the age of 84.

Predeceased by his wife, Sharon.

He is survived by his children, Robin (O'Hara) Stanley & Scott (Suzanne) Ward; grandchildren, Brandon Stanley, Toni (Joshua) Harmer, Nikki Ward, & Zachary (Gerianne Corradino) Ward; great-grandson, Liam Harmer; many nieces & nephews including special nephew, Eddie Ward.

Private Interment at Parma Union Cemetery.

Ben was born January 6, 1939 in Watertown, NY. After graduation he served in the Navy from 1957-1959. He was part of the task force that sailed the Great Lakes when the St Lawerence Seaway opened in 1959. He was on the first American War ship to sail the Great Lakes since the War of 1812. He attended Honor Flight with his son Scott in April 2022 and really enjoyed that trip. He was a proud Veteran of the US Navy.

Ben enjoyed wood working and making many gifts for his family. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He recently moved back to Rochester, NY in 2021 and enjoyed being closer to his family.
