Predeceased by his Daughter; Judy Pensek, Parents; Louis and Lottie Pieniaszek. Brother; Walter Penazek, Sister; Virginia ( the late Bernie) Schirmer. Granddaughter; Annamaria Accorso.
Survived by his wife; Gloria (Masserella) Pensek. Sons; Mark, Ryan Pensek. Daughter; Lisa Chizuk, Sisters; Dolores and the late James Hawryliak, Arlene and the late James Harris. Brothers; Ronald (the late Patricia) Pieniaszek, Leon (Lorraine) Penazek, Richard (Gail) Pieniaszek; and sister in law: Rita Penazek. Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren.
Bernie was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, a life long member of the American Legion/ Pulaski Post. A proud life member of St. Stanislaus Church, a proud veteran of The US Air Force Korean War. He loved spending time with his family, wife Gloria and his pets. He was a hospice survivor and beat the odds of death. He was a courageous and stubborn Pollock....he will be remembered and will be missed by so many. Especially his Polish community in Rochester.
Friends may call 4-7pm Friday, February 15, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.)
On Saturday morning at 10am, friends may meet at St. Stanislaus Church (corner of Norton and Hudson Ave.) 1124 Hudson Ave, Rochester, NY 14621 for Bernie's mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
