Irondequoit: Passed peacefully Thursday, October 19, 2017 at age 96. She is survived by her sister, Joyce (Gerald) Merz; niece, Nancy Heise; nephew, John (Carey) Merz; great-niece, great-nephew and great-great niece.
There will be no prior calling hours. Betty's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 24th at 10:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church, 130 Brett Road. Interment, Mt. Rest Cemetery, Bergen, NY. The family requests the courtesy of no flowers and contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
