Rochester: Passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 at age 79. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Walter R. Glende; parents, William & Katherine Munnings; sister, Anna Katherine; brothers, William and James Munnings. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Judy) and Michael Glende; daughters, Pat (Barry) Doohan, Irene (Bill) Froniear, Jacqueline (Pedro) Velazquez, Laura (Angel) Torres, Theresa (George) Gamble; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Schuhart; brother, John Munnings; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends at Riverview and ILS.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 28th from 4-7:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Memorial Service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 7:30.
Contributions may be made to the Independent Living for Seniors (ILS), 2066 Hudson Avenue, Rochester, NY 14617. Please include a memo as a memorial for Betty.
Our beloved Mother, Gramma and Ya-Ya, we will love you and miss you forever.
