Rochester:
Age 79 Bev went home to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on July 7th, 2020. She joins her beloved mother, Alice Kennedy. Bev leaves behind the love of her life, husband of 57 years, Albert DiMaria; daughter, Terry (Steve Popick) DiMaria; son, Patrick DiMaria; grandchildren, Christa and Sam; 3 great-grandchildren along with many close friends and family. Bev's Love and compassion for animals was boundless. She believed animals deserved help since they didnt have a voice to speak out for themselves. For many years Bev was praised for all the volunteer work she had done, from Monroe county dept of probation to working at various hospitals. She enjoyed helping others, one of the things she was best at was making people laugh, It gave her so much joy to see others smile. For many years she served as a security guard and was very proud of having her concealed carry permit and carrying her gun " Simon". She was strong, courageous and certainly determined to accomplish whatever she set her mind to. one of Bev's favorite things to do was hang out with her life long bestie, Liz. Liz says, Bevers made just going to Big Lots fun and whenever she needed 'Therapy' Al would take her, Lou and Marilyn to the casino. Bev's excitement was just as exhilarating when someone else won as when she Hit Big on the Nickel Machines. Thru all the years fighting cancer she always kept a positive attitude and forever trusted in God. She knew her eternal home was Heaven and she made sure to give God all the glory. .A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date, In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bev's name to HumaneSociety.org and or St.Jude.org.
