Webster: May 19, 2008 at age 89. Born July 28, 1918 and raised in Bath, NY. She attended Haverling Central School. She later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rider College. She was employed as a Secretary at the University of Rochester Atomic Energy Project for a few years before marrying Robert Bitz in 1958. She traveled extensively and visited Hawaii, England, Ireland and Australia. She was a long time sister to the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (Rochester Chapter of the Rider Alumni Club).
Survived by 2 daughters, Ruth Taylor of San Antonio, TX and Laura Stevenson of Titusville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Theresa Marie, Amy Lynn and Brian Patrick Stevenson; and 2 step-grandchildren, Anthony Michael and Richard Joseph Taylor.
Private Service and Interment. Donations may be made in Blanche's memory to: Bivona Child Advocacy Center, 275 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14608 in Blanche's memory.
