Bonnie J. Potts

Beloved mother and grandmother, Bonnie J Potts, died on Friday, March 12th 2021 at age 76 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents W. "Roy" and Ruth Wilson; brothers, Gary and William D. Wilson. Survived by her children, Laurie (Carlos) Cruz, Scott (Cheryl) Potts, Jennifer (Richard) Newton; grandchildren, Carmen (Chagal) Torres, Eric (Daniele) Torres, Michael Potts, Halie Potts, Desiree (Sean) Morse, Erin Newton; great grandchildren, Ana and Jayden Freeman, Eric and Emani Torres, Gwynevere and Gideon Morse.

Bonnie loved gardening and helping things grow, if she could plant it, she could grow it. She took pride in how well tended her yards could be. She had a great love for animals, often donating to local animal shelters. Bonnie was an avid bowler and loved the many local and regional sports teams. Like many NYers, she loved the Buffalo Bills, rarely missing a game (even if she could only listen to it on the radio). Bonnie and her brother Bill were season ticket holders for many years for the Rochester Redwings, the Rochester Americans, and The Knighthawks lacrosse teams. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
