Caleb J. Hodges

Caleb J. Hodges, 68, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC, due to complications from liver cancer. This profound loss is suffered by his wife of nine years, Michelle, and step-sons Gabriel and Julian. Caleb is survived by multiple siblings and relatives that reside in his birth place of Albany, NY. From 1992 to 2018, he lived and worked in the Rochester area and was especially close with his sister Pam (Carmine) Torchia and their three children Frank, Sam and Adelynn who affectionately called him “Uncle Getty.” Anyone who knew Caleb would agree that he was in a class by himself when it came to hard work and selfless dedication to the people he loved. A memorial service honoring Caleb’s life will be held on Friday, December 27th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., at 3:30PM with calling hours immediately to follow until 6:30 PM.
