Thursday, November 30, 2006 at age 87. Predeceased by his grandson, Carl J.; brothers, Johnny and Frank; sister, Lucy Nesta. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruby; children, Ruby II Culver, Patrick Cavuoto, Mary Lou (Joseph) Nero, Stella (Sam) Campanella, Wayne (Theresa) Cavuoto and Lisa (Jon) Fanning; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Cavuoto; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jimmy Catello and Kathy Winstead. Carl was a WWII Air Force veteran and a member of the 55th Fighter Group and owner of the Red Carpet Deli and Pizzeria.
Family and friends may call Sunday 4-8 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM at The Father's House, 692 Paul Rd. Interment in Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.
