SPENCERPORT - Fought a courageous battle beating Covid but succumbing to pneumonia on February 26th 2021 at age 84. Predeceased by brothers, Bernard & Laverne DeRuyter. Survived by his beloved wife of 65
years, Emily (Calhoon) DeRuyter; children, Victoria (Bernard) Zimmer, Jeffrey (Jean) DeRuyter, Barbara (Tom) Agness; grandchildren, Joshua (Kellie), Andrew (Nancy Jo), Zachary (Danielle), Gregory (Emily), Sarah (Jeffrey), Jonathan; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & close family friends.
Calling Hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, March 2nd at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Carl's Funeral Mass will be held privately with family on Wednesday, March 3rd at St. Vincent DePaul Church. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery.
A Celebration of Carl's life will be held at a later date for friends & family.
