Went to God peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2007 at age 90 surrouned by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, John. Survived by her children, John (Jane), David, Marianne (Joseph) Polito and Judy Noto; grandchildren, James (Amy), Michael, John (Tina), Joelle (Mark), Karen (Brian) and Carol Anne; great grandchildren, Gabriella, Melana, Alexandria, Jesse, Nicole, Isabella, Olivia, Jackson-Bobby and Luke Taylor; her baby-sister, Ann (Louie) Borrelli; loving sisters-in-law, Adele, Connie and Ann Tette; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mom was a woman of simple means with a loving heart of gold.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 9-10 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Carmella's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623-9917.
